it seems the nature of this tube. I’ve been using a few Bendix 5y3gt with Fender tweed amps. and it’s my first try with their 6v6gt.
It seems to be true that CJD patients really exist in Korea.
Otherwise, the fact that you can easily find out in a simple Google search in English cannot be denied unconditionally like religion.
It is more likely to cut my fingers and hands, which are frequently exposed to radiation during orthopaedic surgery, than to eat and die from seafood contaminated with Fukusima Daiichi radioactivity.
Everyday is really a series of shocks and sucks.

this switchcraft black plastic plug looks always nice to me. especially with vintage Jensen speakers and tweed amps.
I recently noticed the material and the shape has changed through the years. I’m not sure with the exact timeline but, the first and second left ones look a bit older with the different shape of the end tips.
the first one on the left looks like the oldest brother. it’s the one for my 5D3 with P12Q now.
the next one came with 1953 tweed deluxe 5C3. the rest of them look like came from 60’s or 70’s production. I’m just guessing. I’m wondering when they started to put the nylon spacer not bakelite.
didn’t know Jensen had Concert series with ceramic magnets. this PM-1002 sounds more like Jensen 10J11 than WGS Veteran ceramic to me. even I believed it was an alnico speaker when I grabbed this off ebay for $69 plus shipping. then googled what Syntox-6 was after a week playing this in my 5F1 project. a bit disappointed while figuring out what the magnet was. but still happy with this NOS Jensen with the original box. and it is way louder than Jensen 10J11 alnico speaker as I expected.
I’ve tried Mullard and a few different 12ax7 tubes with it. and going to stick with GE black plate 5751 for a while.
purchased Adzam branded Heerlen 12ax7 and Brussels 6v6gt from from this ebay seller. they were NOS and the pricing was very good indeed.
he sent me this tube puller. this silicon tool designed to grab the preamp tubes and the the tubes like EL84. you still need to hold the tube using this puller. and it feels easy may protect the letters on the tube

We take good old O2 for granted. People are always going on about how early Earth was “perfect” for life. A perfect hell maybe. No ozone layer, no oxygen, extreme heat, an abundance of highly corrosive chemicals in the atmosphere including sulfur and methane.
Much like found on Titan the largest of the moons of Jupiter today. It was a literal red sky hell. With all of that methane and sulfur, it must have smelled like a frat house on chili and hard boiled egg night. So, the Earth was devoid of oxygen in the beginning but as I said there was a metric butt-load of methane and sulfur in the oceans.
So, little single-celled organisms developed that lived on methane and sulfur. After a while, the sulfur level dropped and the methane level did as well. No one is sure why. There still was little oxygen. So some more little critters evolved which produced oxygen called “cyanobacteria”.
It took a billion years for these critters to terraform our planet for the evolution of animals and more complex plants. To this day all plants incorporate these ancient cyanobacteria into their cells in structures known as a “cyanoplasts”. You see life itself changed the planet to support life.
This is what life does.

a member here recommended me 5751 for tweed deluxe v1 socket. and I’m impressed with this setup. I grabbed this off ebay for $32 even the kind seller sent me an extra GE 5751.
I’d say it’s way better than stock 12ay7 and 12at7 on v1.
and 5751 on 5F1 reduces the output volume a bit. but still a good sounding tube
377V with Bendix 6106 5y3wgt which has purchased as NOS and less than 1 year old
366V with Hytron 5y3wgt which is many many years old
369V with GE 5y3gt less than 1 year old
393V with GE 5v4g which I purchased as NOS and less than 1 year old
396V with RCA 5v4g as NOS and less than 1 year old
370V with another Bendix I have purchased as slightly used condition a couple of months ago
btw, I recently scored this Bendix for $25 off ebay. but it just killed my 5F1’s fuse and the B+ is only 266V with 5D3. not every single Bendix lasts like forever
and, figured out why I had 60hz hum with this 5v4g. this one shows only 307v. I’m going to update the 5v4g thread
